This focused couple came with a plan from an architect that was ok, but just not entirely "them" and was oversized for their needs with large, less utilized spaces. I took the plan and reimagined the layout, form and function. Focusing on why they wanted certain areas, I created a plan that reduced the footprint by almost 1000 square feet, reduced the overall cost, and maximized the items on their wish list. Here's a home they will be proud to come home to.

This wonderful family wanted to take advantage of the country club life by living in the neighborhood. This home is modeled after styles popular in their home state of Georgia. This small lot met big needs and I was able to design it in a way that really made them feel like they were building their home - where many memories would soon be made.

If you are wanting a new home with the perfect entertaining spaces for lots of family and friends, you will appreciate this home design. This is exactly the goal of this sweet family. Designed on a flat, but irregular lot, I designed a plan that optimized the land and make the most of the views and the goals of the homeowners.

I love this story. Grandpa realized his home was becoming too much for him, but instead of selling it, he gave it to his son. The son and his wife, built a beautiful home with a separate "apartment" living space for grandpa. The two grandsons are living their best life growing up in the same location as their dad did years ago. I just adore this couple and love seeing them use all the spaces I designed for them.

A change in the family dynamic is often the reason why people move, build or remodel. A marriage and then a sweet baby boy helped this couple realize it was time to go through a home purchase and remodel. Every inch of this house was touched and the results are classic, clean and perfect for family and friends to come over and celebrate birthdays, holidays and summer nights on the back porch.

Ice and snow blanketed Texas and our poor homes weren't ready when the power went out. This was one of many that experienced horrible damage. Looking at the positive, this family was ready to make the most of a bad situation. I was overjoyed as the excitement of "this could be MY house?" surfaced. I made sure their needs were met and I focused on function and balancing in design elements that would spark joy every day. Adding on a garage and a full apartment changed this house into their "forever home."

WEATHERFORD UPDATE

The goal? Transform a closed off kitchen into an entertaining space for large groups of family and friends. Take an awkward master bathroom and make it function and beautiful. That mission was accomplished with opening up the kitchen and dining rooms, adding square footage in the family room (bringing the outside in) and completely transforming the layout of the master bathroom and closet. A once dated home is now clean, open, airy and perfect for this active family.

After working so hard to build their business, this busy family realized they wanted to invest in themselves when they bought this closed off 1990's style home. I partnered with them remotely through the construction process and finished the project with full-home, life-friendly furnishings and all the finishing touches. 100% move-in ready, they now get to enjoy family time on the lake a lot of maintenance, stress or worry.
